How the hell can a police officer murder a man restrained in cuffs? This is an absolutely abhorrent and inexcusable act of inhumanity. But is race the issue? Why is racism a thing? Can we really not get beyond race? Are we not all the same human species? How can one HUMAN treat another HUMAN like this?
How can a human kill another human just because they look differently? How can a human view another human of lesser value because of their ethnicity?
Is there a double standard of racism in our world today? Is it racist to feel like "all lives matter"? Does "black lives matter" perpetuate racism?
How do we move beyond viewing ourselves as "separate" to unite as a species? What if there are people in power behind governments that don't want us to unite as a human race?
